It’s early yet, the sun has not come up but I know it will. That alone is a gratitude in itself, knowing I get another day of Life. Sometimes I do my best thinking early in the morning and if I allow it, my heart sings a little stronger, a little deeper. That’s when I absolutely know that I have the power to create myself an amazing day.

I have much to be thankful for on this Thanksgiving Day. My beautiful family, a darling man in my life, incredible friends, great health, including that I can talk, I can swallow, and Reddogg and Pan, my prayer walks in Mother Nature, and my list goes on. I can’t forget the Macy’s Day Parade, which means, can you believe it, that I will actually turn the TV on in the morning! And then again this evening as my Packers play football! And my family will be watching with me. What a package!

I hope you, Dear Reader, have a wonderful day. Each of you is a blessing in my life. I want to thank you for all your support you give me as I continue with my dream of publishing books, which ultimately will assist me in one of my greatest dreams, sending large amounts of Money to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Every day I envision that goal in my mind, and every day I feel that special joy that floods one’s body through the act of giving.

I wish you a day full of blessings, and maybe a happy, little surprise thrown in there somewhere, just for the fun of it. Sending you hugs, filled with the spirit of Joan, and a big smile, too.

c   Love, Joan

You were among my thanksgiving gratitude list beautiful Morningbird. I smiled reading how you bask in a morning’s predawn possibilities. I feel that kind of blessed sitting alone in a quiet living room, watching moon rays slice the black square that is my picture window. As two metal slivers on a burl wood clock meet for a brief tete-a-tete at Number Twelve, I sigh; The velvet sea of night spreads before me like an oyster bed offering countless pearls to ponder. An owl hoots from a nearby fir. Neither of us are interested in closing our eyes… 😉
