Today is my birthday! Queen Joan the Beautiful is now sixty-eight years young. The photo above is me. Yes, the backside of me taken by my sweet sister-in law, Wilma. The year was 2008, (I think) and I am at Lambeau Field, home of my beloved Green Bay Packers! Several members of my immediate family had joined me to travel to Wisconsin to have fun at a Packers football game. And fun we did have! If you have never been to a National Football League ballgame I highly encourage you to put it on your bucket list. Perhaps you have your own favorite team? Me? Go Pack Go!!
As the queen for the day, and on the day celebrating my birth back in the year of 1957, I hereby decree a declaration that everyone across the lands have fun today. Small or big, choose what you will, but choose it well. Life is Good. Life is meant to be fun, especially in the times of our lives that roll smooth and light. Just as Winston Churchill, the Prime Minister of England during the second World War, proclaimed, “Never give in… never, never, never, never”. Queen Joan the Beautiful proclaims to you, “Never stop having fun…never, never, never, never!”. Sing! Dance around the house! Give someone you know a kiss when they least expect it. Get up early and wrap a blanket around you, sip on a hot drink , and watch the sunrise. Send a sweet soul some flowers. Send yourself some flowers. ( I give myself flowers every year on my birthday now. Years ago I was sad because no one had sent me flowers for quite a while. I thought, “What the heck! I can give my own self flowers!”.) Plan a trip. Attend a concert. Bake that pie or cake that is so yummy and delicious. Take a hike outdoors. Go to that smash-hit play. Purchase that new dress you’ve been wanting for months now. Or buy those shoes that are fabulous eye candy for anyone that is lucky enough to see you strut around in them. That includes you men, too. Have you seen some of the shoes men wear around town now? Go to a Packers game in Green Bay, Wisconsin and wear some expressive long-johns and then show them off. :O) Maybe grab up someone in the family, or a friend, and double the fun!
I would love to read in the comments what fun things you decided to do. You really are awesome you know. And one of the biggest benefits is feeling yourself falling back in love with your own life again. And that Dear Reader, is good for the whole world!

Oh, what fun to celebrate life and living! We had dinner with 2 of our grandsons tonight. What a treat to have time with them and chat about life and dreams. I am knowing this will be your best year yet! Good and more good is headed your way!
